i’m really digging safari 4
ever since the internet became an affordable privelage here in toronto (i reckon 1997), i have used browsers not called internet explorer. that’s because it was so… shit. netscape was easier to use and easy to look at. then IE finally stood up and started to actually get better. i still used alternatives. it seemed that grassroots solutions always had newer features and were more stable.

even ugly by 1997’s standards. it’s like notepad with pictures.
fast forward to a few months ago and even though i owned a modern mac (my previous one was the original 1984 macintosh), i was still using firefox exclusively. there was something about safari that was so ghetto from the very beginning. then they released version 4.
and it’s so good. it still lacks in the options dept compared to firefox and IE8, but i have a feeling it’ll only get better. the neatest feature by far is the top-sites-cover-flow-startpage. just be careful what pages you visit constantly. you don’t want a family member logging in and seeing less than ethical ites listed on the startpage.

i understand this screenshot was made in windows. i’m too lazy to screencap mine.
my only complaint? it doesn’t use the keyboard shortcuts that both firefox and IE use.
